Antarctic Hypersaline Brine Raw sequence reads
Citation
MGnify (2019). Antarctic Hypersaline Brine Raw sequence reads. Sampling event dataset https://doi.org/10.15468/ykguih accessed via GBIF.org on 2024-12-13.Description
Antarctic brine sampled in the Boulder Clay site (74 44 ''S, 164 01'' E), located in Northern Victoria Land. The aim was to identify the biodiversity differences in hypersaline brines; understanding the reasons of these differences, considering that brines might contain DNA and RNA molecules that remain trapped inside for long geological eras, thus representing a key to reconstruct past ecosystems.Sampling Description
