Sampling

Sampling was done by author and his colleagues with the allowed methods in fishery in Ukraine. Main methods: float rod, spoon-bait, feeder, fly fishing, fry drag, 1x1m fishing net.

Quality Control

Species were often identified in the field. Many samples were identified using morphological traits and allozyme markers.

Method steps

  1. Catching of fish.
  2. Examination of sampled material.
  3. Laboratory analyses.

Taxonomic Coverages

15 species of fish are presented within the dataset.
  1. Animalia
