Description

The database of the MANSCAPE project(Integrated management tools for water bodies in agricultural landscapes) comprises species occurrence data of eight different organism groups (phytoplankton, diatoms, zooplankton, benthic chironomids, aquatic macro-invertebrates, macrophytes, amphibians and fish) and data on physical, chemical and morphometric variables of 126 small farmland ponds distributed over almost the entire Belgian territory.

Sampling Description

Method steps

  1. commonly used series of methods steps regarding amphibians (e.g. sampling, identification, data management)
  2. commonly used series of methods steps regarding fish (e.g. sampling, identification, data management)
  3. commonly used series of methods steps regarding macro-invertebrates (e.g. sampling, identification, data management)
  4. commonly used series of methods steps regarding zooplankton (e.g. sampling, identification, data management)
  5. commonly used series of methods steps regarding phytoplankton (e.g. sampling, identification, data management)
  6. commonly used series of methods steps regarding (benthic) diatoms (e.g. sampling, identification, data management)
  7. commonly used series of methods steps regarding macrophytes (e.g. sampling, identification, data management)
