Description

This is Meloidae biodiversity data records currently at The Department of Museums and Monuments and some with Raymond Murphy collected by various collectors in a number of places in Malawi. Some of the records were obtained while the collectors were working at The Department of Museums and Monuments at Top Mandala in Blantyre

Purpose

Preserving Malawi's Natural Heritage by collecting, preserving, documenting, interpreting and communicating for purposes of study, education and enjoyment, the material evidence of man and his environment.

Sampling Description

Sampling

The purpose of the project is to digitise fauna biodiversity data information currently held by the Department of Museums and Monuments and other institutions or individuals and make it accessible to the public. Most of the specimens were collected on as encountered basis while others human observation and photography
