Description

The checklist consists of species of animals and plants protected according to the Annex II of the Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the Conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora (Habitats Directive). Most of these species can be registered in Ukraine - one of the countries that have ratified the Directive.

The Checklist covers the entire territory of Ukraine.

Quality Control

Scientific names, including authorship, are given using GBIF species matching tool.
