Environmental metagenomic dataset originating from seawater collected near Anvers Island (Antarctic Peninsula). Dataset consist of short reads produced via the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. The complete dataset was used to assess metazoan community composition through the application of environmental DNA (eDNA).
