Mycological Herbarium (LEP) of the Laboratory of Mycology and Phytopathology named after A.A. Jazewsky in the All-Russian Institute of Plant Protection is one of the oldest and largest repositories of the fungal biodiversity of our Earth. The Mycological Herbarium is distinguished by the significant bio and species diversity of stored specimens. In 2022, the Mycological Herbarium turned 130 years old. At the heart of the Mycological Herbarium is a private collection of fungi and mixomycetes of the world famous scientist - mycoflorist, mycologist-systematist and phytopathologist, Professor A.A. Jazewsky. Currently, the collection accumulates more than 150.000 items and presents speciemnens of fungi collected around the world.

A collection of Plenodomus species that cause dangerous and harmful disease - Phoma leaf spot and stem canker of cruciferous plants. In total 47 specimens are found collected in different years on the territory of Russia and the former USSR (Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Georgia), as well as in Europe: Italy, France, Poland, Germany, Finland, one test is from the USA. The oldest example is dated 1880.
