Description

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is among the richest sites on earth for both natural and cultural heritage resources. Many tourists visiting Tanzania would wish to visit Ngorongoro, as it is among the seven wonders of the World. Tourism attractions in NCA are divided into two categories, namely, the natural and cultural attractions. Natural attractions are such as wildlife, both fauna and flora, natural features, such as craters, mountains, gorges and valleys, open plains and any other beautiful scenery (unique features). The area is characterized with high diversity of birds of more than 500 species compared to other national parks in Tanzania which make it a very suitable area for bird watching.

The study conducted in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Ngorongoro District in Arusha Region. The study focused on the assessment of the bird species in the planned Loduare to Golini road and propose measures to be taken to minimize the impact on it.
