Description

The Coccoidea collection includes specimens collected during field research of Professor Jan Koteja, conducted in various regions of Poland, including: Upper Silesia, the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland and Roztocze. Specimens of Malgorzata Kalandyk-Kolodzieczyk were collected during field work carried out in various habitats of southern Poland, with particular emphasis on xerothermic and psammophilous grasslands and ruderal communities, and in other regions of the country. The insects were also collected during field research in Italy, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
