Abstract. Parbatthorax proiectus sp. nov. (♂ ♀) is described from the Gaoligong Mountains in Yunnan, China. A detailed morphological description, photographs of the body and copulatory organs, line drawings of the copulatory organs, as well as a locality map are provided.
