Description

This dataset is based on the specimen collection of National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. It focuses on the digitized data of fish and crustaceans such as crabs and shrimps collected from the waters around Taiwan from 1970 to 2006. The orders with the most number of records are Perciformes, Scorpaeniformes, Cypriniformes, Anguilliformes and Pleuronectiformes. Dr. I-hsiung Chen did the work on fish and Dr. Ping-Ho Ho did the work on crustaceans.
