Description

This database was extracted from the four collections of reference specimens on medicinal plants deposited at the CNARP herbarium: http://ipt.madbif.mg/resource?r=medicinal_plants_orstom_cnarp&v=1.0, http://ipt.madbif.mg/resource?r=medecinal_plants_cnarp&v=1.0, http://ipt.madbif.mg/resource?r=medecinal_plants_nci_cnarp&v=1.0 and http://ipt.madbif.mg/resource?r=medecinal_plants_icbg_cnarp&v=1.1

Sampling Description

Study Extent

The digitization program concerns all specimens of the targeted families owned by CNARP. Those specimens were collected from the Malagasy territory

Sampling

All of the Moraceae familiy specimens from the herbarium were digitized. Those specimens were collected from the Malagasy territory

Quality Control

Before publishing, the nomenclature was checked and updated with Catalogue of life, Tropicos database and/or IPNI, we used the OpenRefine tool as well to clean the data
