Description

Survey of ophiostomatoid fungi in Norway, fungi associated with ca 20 bark beetles, weevils and long horn beetles.

Sampling Description

Study Extent

Sampling of insectes from counties all over Norway. 2014-2016. Mostly conifer forest.

Sampling

Bark beetles trapped either in special pheromone traps or by using felled trees as trap trees or trap logs. In addition, stumps and residuals after newly felled trees will be inspected for bark beetles. Isolation and culturing of fungi.
