Three of these lineages have been detected in Canada: L 0 (ON), L 1 (ON), and L 2 (ON, BC, NB, and NS). Porco et al. (2012 a, p. 4) also supposed that the congruence between mitochondrial and nuclear signals “ confirms the genetic individualization of these lineages, and suggests their specific status ”. General distribution: cosmopolitan.
