Answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about GBIF and GBIF.org
Estou com problemas para conectar e acessar os serviços ou a rede do GBIF — o que pode estar errado e o que posso fazer?
GBIF servers are openly accessible on the internet and intended for use by all. Our data-processing infrastructure also needs to make outbound connections to registered data repositories in order to ingest datasets into the GBIF index.
In some cases, network restrictions may block access; either preventing users from reaching GBIF services or preventing GBIF from connecting to your systems. These restrictions are sometimes imposed by institutional network administrators, for example by blocking GBIF IP ranges. If this occurs within your institution, it is often resolved by contacting your network administrators.
If the restriction is applied at a national or broader network level, there is unfortunately very little GBIF can do to intervene or provide a workaround.
GBIF servers have IP addresses in the range 130.225.43.0/24. Web services may be proxied through Cloudflare.
