diagnosis
Diagnosis. Antennal scrobes join below frontal suture; female flagellomeres 1 – 3 long, e. g. 1 st flagellomere 3.1 × as long as wide (Fig. 34); male scape narrow, 4.5 × as long as wide (Fig. 47); forewing speculum open below; scutellum convex; first gastral tergite with punctures in posterior 2 / 3 (Fig. 40); female gaster elongate, MM / LG = 0.8 – 0.9.

Additional material: MEXICO: Mexico, Michoacan, Morelos, from Acanthoscelides sp. on Phaseolus vulgaris and P. coccineus 11 ♀ 10 ♂ (MZLU). Molecular data. Horismenus butcheri equals “ HB 3 ” in Kenyon et al. (2015) and molecular data associated with “ HB 3 ” is accounted for in that paper.
