description
Description. Male (holotype). Total length 9.60. Carapace 5.20 long, 3.90 wide. Clypeus 0.16 high. Eye diameter: AME 0.18, ALE 0.16, PME 0.22, PLE 0.22. Leg measurements: I: femur 4.80 / patella 2.20 / tibia 4.90 / metatarsus 4.20 / tarsus 1.25 / total 17.35; II: 4.50 / 2.10 / 4.10 / 3.70 / 1.50 / 15.90; III: 4.00 / 1.70 / 3.50 / 3.60 / 1.50 / 14.30; IV: 4.90 / 1.90 / 4.50 / 5.60 / 2.10 / 19.00. Leg spination: tibia I and II v 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2, r 1 - 1 - 0, p 1 - 1 - 0, III and IV v 2 - 2 - 2, r 1 - 1, p 1 - 1; metatarsus I, II v 2 - 2 - 2, p 1 - 1 - 1, r 1 - 1 - 1; III v 2 - 2 - 2, r 1 - 1 - 1, p- 1 - 1 - 1, IV v 1 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 2, r 1 - 1 - 1, p 1 - 1 - 1. Palp: truncated ventral apophysis, smooth embolus (Fig. 4 A). Female. Unknown.
diagnosis
Diagnosis. Males of Ohvida coxana resemble those of O. fulvorufa by the shape of the embolus, but can be distinguished by the RTA position, reduced cymbial retrodorsal apophysis and elongated median apophysis (Figs 4 A – B).
