GBIF logos
GBIF encourage our participants, publishers and partners to use our logotype or mark as and where appropriate. Please follow the best practices outlined in the GBIF logo guidelines and, when using a logo online, hyperlink the image to https://www.gbif.org.
GBIF Colours

The GBIF colour palette provides a consistent, visual foundation for our designs. The bright secondary palette provides a range of choices to accent and complement the green and black that form the basis of our logotype.
Participant node logo
Nodes coordinate GBIF-related activities within their own national or thematic networks of data publishers, data users and other stakeholders in support of the countries and transnational organizations that make up GBIF's formal participants.
We encourage nodes to signal their unique role in the GBIF enterprise by using the participant node logo. The participant node logo guidelines outline best practices for nodes that wish to use this exclusive emblem on their own websites, their hosted portals or other materials.
Online uses should hyperlink the logo image to either the GBIF country page (example) or participant page (example).
Data publisher logo
Data publishers form the foundation of GBIF's activities, as their willingness to share data freely and openly has enabled the network's achievements in supporting biodiversity-related research and policy across all major scientific disciplines.
We encourage publishers to highlight their standing as contributors in our wider efforts by displaying the data publisher logo.
The data publisher logo guidelines outline best practices for using this emblem on their websites, hosted portals and other resources.
Online uses may wish to hyperlink the logo image to their main publisher (example) or metrics pages (example).
