The International Conference on Marine Data and Information Systems - IMDIS 2016 aims at providing an overview of the existing information on marine environmental data, and showing progress on development of efficient infrastructures for managing large and diverse data sets.
The conference is organized by IOPAN, Institute of Oceanology - Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland; IMGW, Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, Poland; jointly with IFREMER, BODC, CSIC, MARIS and OGS, as part of the SeaDataNet consortium.
The conference will have four sessions on marine information and data management, marine environmental data bases, data services in ocean science and services for users and education.
Abstracts may be submitted through the IMDIS website. The deadline for submission of papers and posters is 13 May 2016.
