The Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG) 2026 conference takes place in Oslo, Norway in September. This year, the conference is hosted by GBIF Norway, the University of Oslo Natural History Museum and the Norwegian Biodiversity Information Centre.
TDWG's annual conferences provide a forum for developing, refining and extending TDWG standards in response to new challenges and opportunities. The theme of the 2026 conference is research and robot-ready biodiversity data standards.
Conference activities span 21-25 September 2026, including a full conference programme, welcome reception and registration events (on 20 September), public keynote sessions, side events, bioblitz and excursions events and a conference dinner.
