The Eighth ASEAN Heritage Parks Conference (AHP8) hosted by Viet Nam will bring together park managers, experts and partners to strengthen the role of ASEAN Heritage Parks in advancing regional and global biodiversity goals.
Building on past conferences, AHP8 aligns with the ASEAN Biodiversity Plan and the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, emphasizing nature-based solutions, climate resilience, ecosystem restoration and inclusive governance.
The event will also highlight the roles of Indigenous Peoples, local communities, women and youth in promoting sustainable finance and regional cooperation or effective biodiversity conservation.
