Evergreen, with long, creeping stems. Prickles sparse, curved, markedly decurrent at base. Leaflets (3 -) 5 - 7, 30 - 60 x 10 - 20 mm, coriaceous, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, serrate, glabrous, shining; stipules narrow. Inflorescence (1 -) 3 - to 7 - flowered, corymbose.
