Biodiversity data quality symposium

The symposium on developing a common framework to improve fitness for use of biodiversity data is organized by the São Paulo Research Foundation, FAPESP and the Research Center on Biodiversity and Computing, of the University of São Paulo.

Experts from GBIF and the Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG) will discuss the latest on the development of a common conceptual foundation for biodiversity data quality. Practical aspects, including the identification of data quality requirements for species distribution modelling and for agrobiodiversity, and the development of a catalog of data quality tools and services will also be discussed.
