This first information meeting on GBIF was organized during the mentoring project between France and Togo at the University of Lomé. It brought together representatives of insitutions that could potentially become publishers of biodiversity data. It was attended by over 40 participants including the Minister who signed the GBIF MoU, the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and the Head of Delegation of GBIF Togo.
