Diagnosis. Males and females can be distinguished by the black chevron pattern of their carapace, furthermore males are distinguished by the long and uniformely curved embolus of the palpal bulb (Gertsch 1977: figs 80, 81). Distribution. Mexico: Chiapas.

Type material. Male holotype from 4 mi SE of San Cristóbal, Chiapas, 23 August 1966, Jean and Wilton Ivie (AMNH). NOT EXAMINED.
