description
Cells are aerobic, Gram-staining-positive, non-flagellated and filamentous. Colonies are circular, convex, rough, entire and orange colored after incubation for 3 days on ISP 7 agar at 30 ℃. In the API 20 NE system, positive reaction for nitrate reduction, hydrolysis of esculin and gelatin, β-galactosidase activity and utilization of D-glucose, Larabinose, Dmannose, Dmannitol, Dmaltose, potassium gluconate, adipic acid, malic acid and phenylacetic acid. In the API 20 NE system, negative reaction for indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease activity, oxidase activity and utilization of N acetylglucosamine, capric acid and trisodium citrate. Strain R _ 77 (= NIBRBAC 000503392) was isolated from soil in Sejong, Korea (36 ° 28 ′ 42.4 ″ N 127 ° 15 ′ 42.0 ″ E).
