(Figs 88 – 90) Host-plants. Unknown in the Crimea; in other regions Agrimonia, Filipendula, Fragaria, Potentilla, and Sanguisorba.

The species occurs in Europe (except northern regions); it was treated as belonging to the Euro-Submediterranean species group, but recently it has been discovered in East Asia too (Stonis & Rocienė, in prep.). Remarks. The species is common in the Crimea: widespread and very abundant (no leaf-mines are known, collected at light only). 26. Stigmella rolandi van Nieukerken, 1990 (Figs 38, 39, 91 – 93) Host-plants. Rosa canina L. in the Crimea; in other regions also R. pimpinellifolia L. and Sanguisorba minor Scop.
