2005 GBIF Mentoring Workshop between Argentina, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica - Biodiversity Informatics

The objective of the seminary was to introduce the participants in subjects related to the methodologies and information technologies used for the biological collections management, for instance: system development, data bases design and administration, Internet applications development, analysis of data using geographic information systems (GIS) and protocols/standards developed by GBIF with the purpose of integrating the specimens/observation data available around the world.
