Description

The Tula Regional Museum of Local Lore is part of the Tula Museum Association. It is a cultural, scientific and educational center, whose activities are aimed at studying the history and nature of the Tula Oblast and presenting of them for public. It is a holder of historical, paleontological and biological collections, including herbarium of vascular plants, mosses, lichens as well as collections of insects, birds and mammals. The period of collections completing began at the end of the 19th century and continues to the present day.
