Ryazan State University named for S. Yesenin has the Herbarium named for E.G. Gushchina (RSU). The collection has more than 22 thousand samples. Basically, the collection contains samples of vascular plants from the Ryazan region. Also, some university researchers are studying the biodiversity of vascular plants in the Ryazan region and the Ryazan city.
