National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM)

Description

The Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) is a specialised government agency under the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. The primary mission of the institute is to modernise, gather, generate and integrate knowledge on the health of the Dutch population and environment and to make this information usable in the public domain. RIVM helps to protect public health and the environment through several monitoring programmes including programmes on the biotic and abiotic components of soil, air, water and ecosystems.
