GB25: 25th Meeting of the GBIF Governing Board

The National Biodiversity Data Centre, the national GBIF Participant and node in Ireland, hosted GB25 in Kilkenny, in the country's southeast, from 15-18 October 2018. More details about the event remain available (for now) on the GB25 website.

Public session

On the afternoon of 17 October, members of the broader GBIF community shared presentations under the theme of GBIF applications and relevance: progress and next steps. In addition, as in recent years, winners of the annual Young Researchers Awards were presented and winners of the 2018 Ebbe Nielsen Challenge announced.
