Study Extent
The coverage of the data was obtained directly from online databases, chronicles and literature, covering the entire three northeastern provinces.Sampling
The main reference journals are the Journal of Flora “Muscorum Chinae Boreali-Orientalis”,Flora Bryophytorum Sinicorum Volume 1-8, Biological Species and Distribution of Jilin Province, Botanical Records of Heilongjiang Province, Volume 2 , Illustrated Catalogue of the Higher Plants of China, Volume 1, Bryophytes , and the relevant literature published as of November 2022, including Master's degree and doctoral dissertations. The online databases were mainly the Chinese Biological Species List (Specise 2000), the National Specimen Resource Sharing Platform (NSII ), and the Global Biodiversity Information Network database (GBIF) . Endangered mosses were mainly referred to the Chinese List of Threatened Species of Higher Plants ,and the Chinese Red List of Biodiversity (Higher Plants Volume), and the key protected species were determined in accordance with the List of Wild Plants under State Key ProtectionMethod steps
- 1. The spelling of Latin names was checked using TNRS but the species view of TNRS was not used, for those that could not be resolved by TNRS, reference was made to Tropicos 2. The data obtained from the collation were summarized by removing duplicates and invalid names, and were classified according to the classification system in Specise 2000. 3. The final list was consolidated, and species not included in Specise 2000 were recorded according to i plant or reliable original source.
