Some finds of insects (Insecta, Pterygota) in Kharkiv region, Ukraine

Study Extent

The database includes finds of rare and common insect species within the Kharkiv administrative region. The database included rare species ("Red Book of Ukraine", "Red List of Kharkiv region"), common species for which Kharkiv region is an area on the border of the species distribution range, as well as species with uncertain status (number and distribution).

Sampling

Findings of insects were made both by chance on ornithological routes, and at special inspections (route supervision, "cutting" by a net of a grass cover, application of aromatic attractants, inspection of contents of hollows of trees and dead wood, application of light traps - catching on light, etc.).

Quality Control

The author is fully responsible for the quality of data provided within the dataset.
