The database includes finds of rare and common insect species within the Kharkiv administrative region. The database included rare species ("Red Book of Ukraine", "Red List of Kharkiv region"), common species for which Kharkiv region is an area on the border of the species distribution range, as well as species with uncertain status (number and distribution). Mass common insect species were not included in the database.Sampling Description
Study Extent
The database includes finds of rare and common insect species within the Kharkiv administrative region. Findings of insects were made both by chance on ornithological routes, and at special inspections (route supervision, "cutting" by a net of a grass cover, application of aromatic attractants, inspection of contents of hollows of trees and dead wood, application of light traps - catching on light, etc.).Quality Control

- 2. Species identification.
- 3. Georeferencing.
