Study Extent
This project and related study are aimed towards creating the preliminary checklist of fungal species (mainly ascomycetous fungi) inhabiting fragile and disappearing ecosystems of glacial and other mountainous lakes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.Sampling
All species recorded will be photographed in situ and afterwards taken with part of substrata in order to preserve vital characteristics of the collected material.Method steps
- All species are recorded in situ with their ecology and georeferenced as well. In the laboratory microscopic analysis were undertaken for most of the collected species and later collected material is deposited in the Society Fungarium (FAMU).
