Description

The Middle Asian Flora and Vegetation Research Project was initiated by prof. Arkadiusz Nowak in 2006 and continues to the present day (2023). Collections have taken place mainly in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, and to a lesser extent in Uzbekistan. A large part of the collection consists of plants from Pamir-Alai and Tian Shan Mts. The collection mainly concerns species collected in plots during phytosociological rather than taxonomic studies.
