Description

The checklist consists of species of animals and plants that are rare or endangered in the territory of the Khmelnytskyi region of Ukraine. The checklist was implemented by the decision of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council dated July 17, 2012 #4-12/2012

The Checklist covers the entire territory of Khmelnytskyi administrative region of Ukraine.

Sampling

Scientific names were manually extracted from the species list indicated on the web sites: https://mepr.gov.ua/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Hmelnytska-obl_2021.pdf

Quality Control

Scientific names, including authorship, are given using GBIF species matching tool.
