Description

The dataset concists of registrations of diferent representatives of zooplankton in the different types of water bodies at the Rzhyshchiv city amalgamated territorial community (CATC).

Sampling Description

Study Extent

The dataset was created of registrations of species found in water samples taken from water bodies of Rzhyshchiv CATC.

Sampling

With the help of Apstein's plankton nets, 50-100 liters of water were filtered. The material was supplemented with 4% formalin. Processing of hydrobiological material was carried out in the Laboratory of Hydrobiology and Technology of Cultivation of Valuable Invertebrates IWG NAAS with the help of the most commonly used methods.

Quality Control

The author is fully responsible for the quality of data provided within the dataset.

Method steps

  1. Filtering of 50-100 l of water from the water body with the help of Apstein's nets.
  2. Fixation of samples with 4% formalin.
  3. Species identification.
  4. Georeferencing.
