Description

A list of the tracheophyte names accepted in "Spontaneous Flora of the Crimean Peninsula" (Yena, 2012). This source covers Crimean Peninsula, i.e. City of Sevastopol and Republic of Crimea. About twenty species are known in the peninsula only from Sevastopol, but they were left here for consistency. The dataset was compiled as a first step towards further processing of the modern checklist for the Republic of Crimea, Russia.

Stable archival version (not edited, not curated).

The dataset includes 2,533 accepted species and subspecies names (not 2,536 as stated in the original source). Aggregates (aggr., coll.) are suspended, but their microspecies are listed.

Several minor orthographic errors in either scientific names or their authors were corrected manually. Some names were not automatically cross-linked with the GBIF backbone.
