Description

Small rodents have been trapped in a mountain birch forest in Øvre Heimdalsvann, (Øystre Slidre in Oppland, Norway) at an elevation of 1000 masl. 100 traps, baited with carrot, have been put out for 4 days and nights, late August, every year since 2002. Small rodents were identified, weighted (gram), and length was measured, both body length and total length (cm).The collections have been conducted by students and employees at NMBU, and will continue years to come.
