Records of fungi, lichens and slime moulds from the Outer Hebrides recorded up to 31 December 2019. Includes records collected directly from individual recorders and those collected by the Highland Biological Recording Group (HBRG). Collation and mobilisation of this dataset has been funded by grants from Scottish Nature. Data do not have comprehensive geographic or taxonomic coverage. They have not been specifically reassessed in light of recent taxonomic splits or aggregations, and should be checked against original sources if there is doubt.Method steps
- Dataset comprises field records submitted by resident and visiting recorders. Recording is mostly casual and all records are validation and are verified in accordance with OHBR policy.
