Description

This dataset contains preliminary occurrence records for specimens of the Ferns and Fern allies, housed at South Pacific Regional Herbarium (SUVA), at The University of the South Pacific in Suva, Fiji.

Records do not have GPS coordinates, however, locality descriptions are provided.

Data mobilisation is supported by the BID Pacific project "Mobilizing biodiversity data from natural history collections in Fiji" (BID-PA-2020-006-NAC).

Taxonomic Coverages

The dataset covers families of ferns and fern allies. The family concept and order followed the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group I (2016).
