Description

A database of records of marine turtle sightings, strandings, captures and entanglements in Irish waters encompassing records from Berrow & King, 2009, Irish records submitted to Marine Environmental Monitoring in the UK, and records from other sources.

Purpose

To collate all valid records of marine turtles in a single database

The data have all been reviewed and more recent sighting were validated by Gabriel King and/or Rod Penrose
