Jointly organized by GBIF Uruguay, SiB Colombia, SiBBr and Canadensys, the workshop is part of one of the six projects selected to receive support from GBIF’s capacity enhancement support programme in 2015.
This workshop was organized during the mentoring project between Spain, the Netherlands and Colombia. The first day of that workshop was related to biodiversity data online publication and the second and third days covered biodiversity data management.
This four days workshop will focus on data quality principles and basic concepts, standards and data cleaning, data quality tools, and geographic data handling. It is organized in partnership between the GBIF Participant nodes from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Spain and Uruguay.
This workshop is organized by the Natural Sciences Institute of the Universidad Nacional in Colombia, together with the Biodiversity Information System (SIB), with support from the Alexander von Humboldt Bioiogical Resources Research Institute, the JRS Biodiversity Foundation and the Spanish GBI
