The National Vegetation Database (NVD) was established in 2007 by the National Biodiversity Data Centre in conjunction with the NPWS. It is a central repository for Irish vegetation surveys. This dataset includes vascular plant data extracted from the NVD as species records.
Vascular plant data collected by Paddy Reilly when he was Botanical Society of the British Isles county recorder for Cavan. The data was digitised by the National Biodiversity Data Centre in 2012 from the original BSBI recording cards owned by Paddy Reilly and in the care of the National Botanic Gardens
The Seabird 2000 dataset is a full census of all of the breeding seabirds in Britain and Ireland between 1999 and 2003. This dataset contains only the Irish data, which is a subset of the larger British and Irish database.
