Some topics of interest to the GBIF Community are not part of GBIF's Strategic Plans or Work Programmes. The GBIF Secretariat will seek to collaborate with partners in order to provide access to appropriate training materials on topics such as:

• Biodiversity standards and protocols
• Basic database management
• GIS software use.
