Biodiversity Informatics Data Analysis Training Course

Description of the event:
This course will provide an overview of and introduction to a suite of biodiversity data analyses, beyond ecological niche modeling and and the related species distribution modeling: place prioritization, survey gap analysis and inventory completeness metrics, species inventories, macroecological analyses, etc., presented by experts from the USA, Mexico, Brazil, and elsewhere.
The diversity of topics should be quite rewarding, as many of them are interrelated and interconnected. The course will include conceptual overviews, detailed instructions for implementation, and as much hands-on exploration as possible.

Number of participants and target audience:
All researchers, students, technicians, planners, managers, and other interested persons from across Africa are welcome to apply.
