Workshop on data paper publication by GBIF Spain
Description of the event:
This workshop will promote to convert descriptions of biodiversity data (metadata) into scientific journal articles as one possible mechanism to offer scholarly recognition for efforts and investment by data publishers.
The GBIF Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT) automatically generates a manuscript from metadata giving key information about a dataset accessible via the GBIF data portal. The aim of the workshop is to learn the use of this tool and generate a data paper for each participant.
