Data fitness-for-use training workshop by SABIF
Description of the event:
This training will be part of the annual Biodiversity Information Management Forum hosted by the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI). The Forum brings together members of organisations involved in mobilising, managing or using biodiversity data. This training will be relevant for those involved in generating and mobilising data. All participants will be actively involved in working with data and their participation will contribute to improving the quality of data served by SANBI and South African Biodiversity Information Facility (SABIF). Many participants will be in a position to build the skills of their colleagues to improve data fitness-for-use.

25 people.
Key role-players in biodiversity information management in South Africa and the Southern African region.
