Experts Workshop on the GBIF Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT) v. 2
Description of the event:
The objective of this course is to provide a selected group of technically capable people with extensive knowledge on the second version of the GBIF IPT so they can participate in the related training experts network and distributed helpdesk system for the benefit of their communities and regions.
Number of participants and target audience:
21 people from 19 countries/organisations: ACB, Argentina, Belgium, Bioversity International, Cameroon, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Colombia, Costa Rica (2 people), France, Ghana, Iceland, India, Madagascar, Mauritania, NatureServe, South Africa, Uganda and United States.
Technicians from all over the world that have interest in the GBIF IPT (for their organisation use) AND the time to participate in an international community of IPT experts. Ideally, technicians in GBIF Participant Nodes Coordination Units that already have the commitment to give support to data publishers.
